About Us
Our history
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Smart Girl Society was incorporated as a 501C3
Reaching 15k students, parents, and educators serving in five states
Changed name to Smart Gen Society to fully gender inclusive, expanded to services in nine states
Double in size, became an official FBI partner, moved to our current home office, reached 45k served
Doubled in size and shifted to an online format to best reach remote learners during the pandemic
Launched new online subscription services, reached $65k by the first quarter, on track to triple in size this year!
Celebrating 6 years as a nonprofit, with programming in 15 states
Celebrating 7 years as a nonprofit, with programming in 16 states
